The world calls it Golden Milk or Turmeric Latte and relishes it as a health drink that has healing properties.
And at a time when people are doing all that they can to boost their immunity, this drink shall come in handy for sure.
Ingredients of Turmeric latte / Golden latte / Haldi doodh
- It's 200 ml of milk.
- Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric.
- Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of honey.
- You need 1/4 teaspoon of grated ginger.
- It's 1 pinch of ground black pepper.

- In a pan, add the milk, turmeric, grated ginger and ground black pepper. Bring to boil.
- Strain the milk, mix in the honey. Garnish with some ground pepper and enjoy warm!.
A blend of Milk & the "Golden Spice" Turmeric - with refreshing spicy overtone of Ajwain, Ginger & Pepper Turmeric (haldi) and milk (doodh) are ingredients often used in Indian cuisine, and these two components form the base of golden milk. Either cow's milk or plant-based milk can be used for making this drink. Masala means spice mixture in Hindi, and as this recipe includes various spices in addition to turmeric, let's call it masala haldi doodh. Turmeric powder mixed in hot milk, and a dash of pepper powder along with ginger, cinnamon powder and honey is the immediate medicine that was given to us.
